I'm sorry for your loss. It hurts to loose someone you love. Even more-so after having them around for years. I work in an Emergency Room for animals and unfortunatly I have to see it every day. Some nights are better than others and some nights I come home, lock myself in my room and cry.
We would all like our little furry friends to live forever but we know they won't. When the time comes we have to let them go even if it means 'sending' them away. Not everyone understands this though. Somepeople insist on keeping their little pals alive, even after they have really stopped living. Your folks prolly made the right choice for your four-legged sibling. Be happy and remember the times she had and how good of a life your family gave her.
