OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!

...more than meets the eye!

This is the second teaser that's been released and in this one you actually see teh robotzx0rz!
It'll probably suck because Michael Bay is directing but I DON'T CARE. I will still see it.

Currently downloading the HD version for high-def viewing. It's taking ages but, again, I DON'T CARE.

Soooo excited!

P.S....

Helloooo my peeps.

I tried to watch "The Cat Returns" last night but with only limited success as it appears my disc is scratched. It's a bit of a shame as the human character design is really remarkable and special in this one (there are a lot of cats, too, and the character design is clever, but not really amazing).

I really want to watch...

Didn't get much done today, but did have dinner at rh1an5's, which is always nice.

I've been catching up on my Studio Ghibli anime lately.
Some time last week I watched Mimi wo sumaseba (aka Whisper Of The Heart), and it's a really sweet story. I'm a sucker for these sorts of stories. blush Hilariously, though, it centres around the girl writing new Japanese lyrics to...

I'm a wretched speller, I know. tongue

I spend way too much time on the computer, and using computer based programs compared to original mediums. It's only when I go away that I force myself to go back to basics.

Bowling last night was great fun. It was especially awesome to catch up with anyone.

When I finish the rest of the roll, I'm looking forward to seeing how my ancient 1960s film camera went with the zany neon lights and blacklights. Should be interesting.

My favourite quote from the night:
"Oh my god you're SO CUTE! ... uhh ... but i mean ... cute...

Let's play some catch-up. It would seem that I like lists:

  • The Prestige is a really good movie. Go see it. It has David Bowie in it, too, which is a bit of fun.
Oh, and ignore the naysayers who say it is terrible. Though entitled to their opinion, I encourage you to discredit them. ARRR!!!

  • Sizzler is a terrible terrible place. You eat more than...

It's a funny metaphysical space, the Internet.
You go searching for, say, Wireless power transmission on Wikipedia, and end up passing through all kinds of steps, including Nikola Tesla, until you finally end up at a video made by Thomas Edison in 1903 of him electrocuting an elephant to prove that AC power is less safe than DC power (they used AC to "euthanise"...

Yeah, the pupil thing was hell cool.

On the same subject; there was a bar girl that had cat eye contacts in on Friday night. So fucking great smile

Last night at _Indigo_'s place I was severely beaten at Monopoly. Kye can at least say she left early, whereas I was properly bankrupted out of the game. Though, I'm not surprised since I didn't manage to exceed more than three properties. Overall, I believe the winner was Pezzam.
Thanks to _Indigo_ for hosting a delightful evening.
The next one will be on...

First: If you sent me a message in the last 48 hours through SG, I seem to have lost it. I saw a couple appear in the inbox but when I went to read them, it said there were none. So please resend or get in touch.

Second: Gold Coast peeps: tomorrow night (Tuesday) is board games at _Indigo_'s place, and I'm driving. If...

New profile picture. It's a drawing a friend did for my 26th birthday (so... about 17 months ago because apparently I'm old tongue)

My time has been occupied lately by a couple of things:

1) I finally finished Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco. Great book, but oh so wordy and oh so complex at times. There are several amazingly hilarious and deliciously clever jokes made...

You know I've never seen any of Arrested Development? So I'll have to take your word for it on the camera scene. I'm in the process of excghanging my two ending seasons for the first three, so I can hook you up with all the goods, given time..

Been feeling very creative lately. Not sure why but in any case I'm never able to follow through with this sort of thing. So I get lots of good ideas but I don't do anything about them.

- I came up with a cool idea for customisable spectacle frames.
- I've been fiddling with the idea of tracing photographs of people and using them for...

The scarf is cool, as are many of your ideas. You are so right about mens fashion. Everything is old and rehashed.

What on earth would you do to your hair? I'm seeing a really, really angled cut. Sharp and textured.

Have a great weekend!
smile
conjure:
WOW what a great scarf. I think you should buy it immediately. That What's Zo Wearing piece is great, thanks for sharing.

On creativity: Have you played around with flash? You can import an image and two seconds it will be a line drawing.

I like your new picture. Interseting. Why not post a picture that reflects you now?

Oh, and 'MangaHead' by Garnier .. actually works.
