I could've went to Mod Night and danced my ass off and still manage to be kinda bored... but instead I stayed at home, cleared off my bed with my best friend and watched the rest of the first season of Arrested Development on DVD. The Say Anything reference is pure motherfuckin' gold.

If someone has a copy of the 2nd season on DVD that...

Oh, and the answer to your question is...money. That's what's keeping me here.

I got a Cormac McCarthy book but never actually read it. I have a problem with committment, and it looked like it required that. So I've been working my way up with the Palahniuk novels. I have two of them that I haven't read yet, though. I'm kind of slacking on...well...everything lately.
noir:
The second one.

I don't much like him either, but it's an easy read, and that's what my committmentophobe self needs.

Sometimes, no matter how many watches you're wearing, time slows down like molasses, whisky + beer are soothing parts of your body you never knew existed like a Zen alcoholic version of Sir Francis Drake.
One by one your perceptions are stripped away, and all you become aware of is the hotbox of heat in the red ballroom and your body and mind humming one...

Lazy days.. are good days.

I woke up this morning to find my squash game cancelled.. which allowed me to mill about, read, and listen to some music.

Then I went up to school to go see a Series of Unfortunate Events with Malloreigh at my work. The film was spectacular in all ways.. acting, direction, and art design were all fantastic. The best closing...

I remeber him being nervous and telling us about wafting to snigg chemicals in beakers. Poor bastard.

Every year, we got stuck with a new nervous tecaher who could *speak* French, but teach?... Ha.

Too bad you weren't around for the grade 8 science teacher!.... tongue Be very, very thankful.

It's times like this when I feel downright biblical - not in a "let god strike down teh gays" kinda way of course - but in a portentous sense, as if every word is a smear in the air dripping with meaning.

When the slightest twitch of your arm makes you realize your molecules are bubbling over like molten volcanos, realizing that even in the...

I've recently rediscovered my love of:

- racket sports
- Zombie movies
- Eastern philosophy
- glossy European fashion magazines
- travel & adventure
- designing clothes / assembling outfits

Oh yes.

I've been walking around reading Crowley fictional "Diary of a Drug Fiend" and a copy of "Getting Things Done" - the combination has garnered me some strange looks.

Saw a Bill Plympton film...

Off that list, only The Life Aquatic caught my eye. But then again, I haven't seen all of them.

Team Couture may be off to a rocky start, but don't let the name fool you. Randy himself could show a certain number laden group the true meaning of the word un-fucking-stoppable. The man is 41 years old and continues to beat hard earned life lessons into young challengers.

Played some killer poker.

Bailed early from the not-so-Russian themed Russian-themed party.

Now I'm just at home with the Mexicali Blues...

Is there anything a man dont stand to lose,
When the devil wants to take it all away?
Cherish well your thoughts, and keep a tight grip on your booze
