I need to eat key lime pie off nubile partygoers and have key lime pie eaten off of me more often.
When you throw in riding crops, kir royales, and being given a hefty length of chain by the birthday girl as a gift for doing the party right, you have a fun evening.
Although public transit with a Mr. T size coil of chain... Read More
What? Oh, I guess you did say that. But seriously, everyone awesome I'd want to get an interview with is dead. Where are all the living legends? And I'm not talking about Margaret Atwood.
Maybe you should just write a piece called "Sex With Groupies." That'd be more interesting than the 95 THOUSAND FUCKING REVIEWS I'm going to get this week. I told you someone emailed me something he said "wasn't really a story," and "isn't even that good," right? WTF? Like I'm gonna publish it now? Seriously, I need non-shit fiction, and ConU students are lazy motherfuckers with no talent (at least in terms of the people who are submitting things to me at the paper).
I don't think I'm in a good head space for quiet introspection.
I don't dream very often so I tend to have boring sleeps. When I do dream they're fantastically bizarre. Apparently I feature in other people's dreams more frequently than my own. Sometimes those are entertaining.
Canada doesn't want me. There are thousands of possibilities to get a temporary working permit for all kinds of jobs except freelance focus pulling. So long, True North, strong and free, you had your chance and missed it.
Wow....someone ariticulated my neurosis in regards to actually creating something.
The way I see it ( right now) is that the most important thing to worry about is art for it's own sake. Everything else is just ego, and chances are you're going to be dissapointed. After all, you've got no control over someone else's opinion( and they are entitled to it)....only over what you create. Be true your vision and that is reward enough, becauswe that's a challenge without worryinng about all the other stuff.

Awhile ago I conceived of writing a short book in which I'd have homosexual encounters with all of my favorite authors. Well.. and a few heterosexual ones I suppose.
In the spirit of such an outing when asked to write a short piece on valentine's day for my friend ValCapone's smut zine, I agreed.
In the spirit of procrastination I didn't send in until... Read More

I kinda thought some of the flowerier language was there for the sake of being flowery, though. Kinda felt like you were using, for lack of a better way pf putting it, big words, to show you're smart, rather than just being smart with them? Does that make any sense? I don't even know.
Well done, sir! I've always been a fan of yer Journal entries. Glad to see your stuff in an other context. Keep it up. Write away.
Sorry, sweet Mr. Lemon... it was last wednesday I *began* my return to TO. Air Canada managed to make that process take 14 hours, so I didn't actually get back home for a while. You through here any time soon? What flavour ice did you get? What's cooking in this carefully transported stove?
I want to take you all to a big house on a cool clean lake.
It's summertime, the air is thick as sweat. We have a bottomless beer fridge, every imaginable board game and floatation device, and a fleet of Mad Max style jet skis. There's scotch and liqueurs for evening drinking, a humidor full of the finest drugs imaginable, a long dock on the... Read More
When I close my eyes and think of heaven, this is what I will now see... except with more harps (blame it on being raised catholic), and round the clock mud-and/or-pudding wrestling. Oh yeah.
