It's never too late to learn an instrument. It's just a matter of finding and making time for the practice, which is the most difficult part.
I never said my favorite weekend getaway. For me, that'd be a disgustingly crowded remote music festival. I'm sure that'll change in a few years, though. When I get sick of all popular music and will instead opt to building my own cabin on the shore of some unpopulated lake in Canada.

I'm attending the Professional Culinary Institute in Campbell. The commute is going to suck, but it's the only course approved by the Court of Master Sommeliers to train you for the test. Other culinary schools do workshops and such, but nothing as extensive. This program is 10 weeks long, with around five wines a day.

i have been wanting some curtains because it gets too bright in my room, which makes it hard for me to sleep (in). I have pale, sky blue walls with white trim and light sage colored carpet. i don't know what color curtains to get. what do you think?

There's a light blocking curtain that's white and tends to be very thick (not so much curtainy as window shade). Ikea also has a very nice light blocking curtain that is light bluish grey on side and a darkish greyish green on the other. It was really nice - good quality. Really, the color doesn't matter so long as you like it.
my mom is trying to talk me in to moving back in with her so i can go back to school to study acupuncture and chinese medicine. she even offered to babysit my dog. it is a generous offer, but i don't know.
