I went to see my counsellor today and I felt worse when I left than before I went in. I actually felt pretty good when I went in but when I came out I'd reached the decision I don't really need his help and cope better on my own, I only got referred in the first place so they couldn't stick me on anti-depressants which...

I've started to think about what I need to do when I go back to uni in 2 weeks time. I know my next project is one portraiture and figurative work and despite not knowing the assignment in too much detail I do know that we have to do some self-portraiture. Damn. I really don't fancy doing that as I am by far not the...

Actually, I can occasionally catch myself at a good angle in the mirror, and think 'hey, maybe I'm not that repulsive.' That's until I see a photo of my good self anyway. Hence why I only have a profile shot for my...profile.

Shit on the bottom of a shoe?!
Now you really are being too harsh on yourself!

So the big day is over which is slightly depressing but nevermind, its new years at the weekend! I hope everyone had a fantastic time and got some great presents (not that that really matters) and didn't over indulge too much!

I spent all of the 25th lying on my sofa moaning. I'm going to have words with my boss about coming in to work when he was ill! I'm just beginning to recover now, but the Christmas weekend was a write-off! Still, I at least had my parents to wait on me! Hope your weekend was a bit better!
And so we are within 24 hours of the big day. Merry Christmas everybody
oxy:
And a Merry Christmas to you
_lu_:
Merry Christmas!
Am new around here too so i thought that i'd say hi

We just went to buy our chirstmas tree and it doesn't look very steady! It smells nice and christmassy though. Now I have a dilemma, do I go out on christmas eve and get crushed by drunken revellers or do I stay in and enjoy the sparkley light splendour of home? Tough decision.

Actually, if you're all of five foot and nothing, you probably will get crushed. Best to have a circle of tall and wide people around you at all times.

Im going out for a while tonight but i don't want to stay out too long. Merry xmas hun
So here we are and it's today. I'm extremely tired today due to boyfriend induced lack of sleep, he snores so loud that even shoving a pillow in his mouth failed to silence him last night so tomorrow I think I might just sleep all day.
Everyone is out and about rushing around like headless chickens today, I stood back and admired the gorgeous lil...

Sounds like good fun
Sometimes I think I'm stuck between childhood and old age. I act increasingly like an old man, yet I have moments where I'm just a big kid. I obviously never grasped the concept of being either a teenager, or a student!

My boyfriends birthday is Jan 22, which also happens to be our 3 year anniversary of being together, my birthday was last month so its very annoying for both of us. On my 21st birthday i just went to my local pub and got extremely drunk due to being v good friends with the manager at the time. that was probably the last time i have been that drunk and since then i havent really drunk a lot.
I just like to do fun things that dont have to involve alcohol.
I've added some more photos for everyone to snee at/admire. Not to everybody's taste but you may be pleasantly surprised or just plain shocked.

I'm liking some of those skies.
I've put up a few of my own now too, although some are a bit cumbersome because, well, I can't be bothered to edit them properly!

Yep....as always....very cool
I just watched Watership down on the telly - it was so sad. They don't make animation like that anymore. I uploaded some pictures into my albums last night, they probably aren't that great but I have more on the way after I rezise them all so that they fit.
Also I've noticed the number of vegans on this site, wow do I respect you...

'tis tempting isn't it?
In fact I've been considering it ever since I started! Plenty of time afterwards though, and there's always those long Summer breaks...
I hope to do a bit more of Eastern Europe in 2006 (after not getting away at all this year.) I really want to see the Red Square in Moscow.
But anyway, time to log off, tara!

vivid, vibrant, seedy - these are great x
If I may be so bold, I wouldn't dismiss CBT out of hand. Obviously I know nothing about what they're discussing with you, but they're there to offer help on a load of things, not just depression/suicidal ideation. They should be there for the very reason of getting your life back on track. They're also there to listen and understand though, so maybe you just have a bad one.
