hard to believe 2013 has blown by, overall.........overall it's actually been kinda shitty. Did not go how I hoped by any stretch(as I sit here out of work almost 2 months going to Phys Therapy 3 times of week awaiting epidural shots). There was alot of other stuff too, but this has given me time to think. Only a few days left and I'm ready...

I've been thinking alot, what with being out of work since early November. I've found I really do miss my time in Savannah. Rash youth and insecurity took away from it(there's alot I'd do differently), so maybe a big part is wanting a chance to do it again. So I figured in no particular order the 10 things I miss most:

1-being able to walk...

It is kicking my ass. Something very humbling about struggling to do 5 minutes on a treadmill(I'm up to 10). It's been almost a month and a half since the discs completely herniated and it really affected me physically. Definitely lost strength, put some weight on, and totally screwed up how I walk. So basically I'm learning to walk correctly and hopefully getting the discs...

I hope 2014 is a lot better for you, too. PT is a bitch but it will be worth it in the end, especially if you can avoid surgery!

Saw an orthopedist, basically for the next month phyiscal therapy and medication to take down the swelling in my spine. The discs are herniated and were seeing what this does. I see the Dr again at the end of Dec, and can't return to work until then. We close up end of the year and for the first half of Jan so this basically shuts...

So got the MRI, I have discs pushing out and pinching my S1 nerves in my leg. I have to see an orthopedist and see whether ill need injections or any kind of operation. So that's the current state of things, still pretty immobile.

Except I can't do anything, I'm still having a hard time walking or standing. I go in for an MRI on Monday, right now I'm not even working(and my concert plans are shot, which depresses the Hell out of me seeing how I had some big plans for this month). So I'm basically immobile and looking ahead to......well no idea because I have no idea...

-still dealing with the pain, trying to atleast get to where I can work but it's tough

Good Lord the pain my leg. My knees and back are still rough too, but my right leg is presently in constant pain. I tried going to work tonight and was sent home because I looked back(didn't help I'm having such a hard time standing). Right now it's kind of agonizing. Fuuuuuuuck, on a lesser note it as definitely fucked up any plans of celebrating...

Damn, I'm sorry you're dealing with so much pain! You're definitely better off giving it a rest as much as possible. I hope it starts to feel better soon!

So after months of soreness(obviously being exacerbated by the accident a few weeks back), I was in severe pain and went to the ER. Turns out there's bulging discs in my spine. This is something that can be dealt with but I never knew it was this bad. Of course on an unrelated note they found an infection while examining me(so nothing like crippling pain...

a little over a week ago I was in an accident on a particularly rainy night. Still sore and sadly my car is no more because of the fucking air bags. So yeah, more updates soon I suppose.

dearambellina:
Oh no! Sorry to hear. Glad you walked away from it, though. Get some rest.
psychobabblez:
ahhhh I hope you get well.  :)

So last week I made a list of 10 things to do by the end of the year(that being said some are small), I have already done two:

-finally taste some of the rums and vodkas I had been flavoring for years

-start reading the Dragon Ball manga, already read 3 volumes

Will update when more are achieved
