Aw - I hope you don't feel that way about Dream a Little Dream! But I know what you mean... I tend to get pissed when people like something that I consider mine - especially if I liked it for a looong time before - and then when they do catch on, they act as if they are the biggest fans...I was obsessed with the show "Rent" until everyone decided it was their thing, especially my sister. Everyone acted as if she was the number one "Rent" fan simply b/c I am not so loud about the things I like... She even got the "Rent" book I had been wanting as a X-mas gift a year after I first heard the music. Then I felt as if I couldn't completely enjoy it anymore. I am such a baby about those things! 
I don't always mind though... once in awhile it's cool to find out there are people who like some of the same music/movies/shows/characters/etc...
