the circle is complete again.

not in a great way. not where I want to be.

How many cycles of this will I go through? Will we ever beat the cycle?

Very cool! I loved the Saul Bass designed posters, and there were other great ones like "Breakfast at Tiffany's" too. My old skateshop boss back in PA gave me this great one by all these skate designers. super fun!

Not fairing well.

Trouble sleeping, waking up thinking troubled thoughts immediately. Trying to go to a calm place, but I keep getting myself worked up.

So close, so far.

the cycle perpetuates itself.

my life is this endless circle.

I dance a strange and familiar dance, every time with subtle new twists. New year's was no different.

But it was. I feel different this time. It's so cheese, but it's like finally seeing the matrix for what it is. I understand more fully, and now progress at a new level of thought.

the question is, do I have...

I had the best New Year's in a long long time. Some rockin' garage rock, mad friends, tons of love in the air.

happy 2k3 to all.

Soundbite for the new year:

"Shiverin' in the corner's no kind of life!"

Well, the premiere was off the hizzy. Fantastic! We filled both shows, and It was just a grand affair. I'm very stoked, and the after party was, well . . . kooky. Lots of merriment and crazyiness ensued, as per expected. I wish that type of thing went on more often . . .

We are in the last few stages of our video production. The guys are doing a great job. Check out http://www.krudco.com for the skinny.

If you are in the upstate, come on and check it out!

In other news, today was dope. Left work early, chilled out with a friend and watched movies all day. I NEED to make this a regular part of my...

So, anyway, I finally got home after much consternation. Of course, I'm back to the grind and already counting days till the next holiday.

It's cold and snowy and the bitter chill is so refreshing. I never thought I'd say it, but there's something about it that is so envigorating.

Oh, and hell yeah on the mooney suzuki! One of the best live shows I've...

Shastiness of shastiness . . .

Today i was finishing up late at work so I could bolt back to PA tomorrow for the holiday. When I got in my car, I found it no longer wanted to start. dope. A nice stranger helped me try to jump start my car, but it gave me nuthin'. I ended up focusing the hood of my car,...

I've been sick all week and not really getting any better. Joy. I've sequestered myself to my home, just trying to rest and it ain't workin'. Thankfully, there's a mini-holiday to rest up. Fingers crossed.

The highlight of my week was a meeting we had lastnight for the video in progress for the skateshop I work for, krudco. Some tension, but feelin' good. I finally...

sick again.

stressed and wired for 10 weeks, and as soon as my body knows it can, I get sick and those "rest" periods go to waste laid up trying to get well again.

One garlic clove down, many more to go . . .

Just got back from a fantastic show . . . Blind Guardian. Let me tell you, those cats know how to play the metal. They're moving their way out west, so you folks look out for it!

I also love the fact that my last entry was about Wilco. now this one is gnar-gnar metal. smashing . . .

Saw the Wilco documentary "I am trying to break your heart" last night at the Dryden theatre (for those who don't know, it's part of the George Eastman house, http://www.eastman.org/, and they show awesome films both past and present.)

Anyway, it's very cool, the cinematography is very smooth. The funny part is that the main projector was broken, so they had to play each reel...
