What happened to you is sooo shitty I can't even express it. Somebody else already said this, but at least now you know what both of them are really like so you don't have to waste any more time with either of them. I know that doesn't help how you feel though... the only way I can ever get over a nasty break-up involves a lot of substance abuse, so that's not good advice either... ummm... just look here or here and hopefully it will make you smile.

When I was about 16 or 17 a couple of buddies and I went down to TJ to rent a hotel room and party the weekend away. We had just come into town and decided to rent a room at the hotel at the race track. So we pull in in my friends 65 Cadillac and he runs into the hotel to see if we can get a room. Now at this point I should probably mention that my friends were of the hardcore Vato variety and I had a 12" Mohawk at the time so we were Quite the crew. Anyway my friend comes back to the car and says that the hotel is booked....Then out of nowhere there are two guys in Really Bad Dress Clothes with Nickle Plated Revolvers stuck in our faces. Turns out they are the Mexican equivalant of the DEA. So we get hauled off to jail and I spend 4 days in an 8x12 cell with 30 other guys. The U.S. Navy comes ( I was a Dependant) , The U.S. Consulate Comes, deals are brokered ..Prices are set....and all it cost my family for a trumped up drug charge (We didn't have any).......$5000 ...Man was my mom Pissed!! I was forbidden to ever return to Mexico. But since I was down there at least once a week it was a little hard to stay away. So I waited 2 weeks and then I went back...You guessed it.. arrested again. Only this time it was the Local Cops...So it only cost me the $$$ I had in my Pocket which was about $40. So I walked out of the jail..Pulled out the other $40 I had stashed and went and had a good time.
Moral of the Story: If you do go to Mexico make sure you get busted by the Local Cops and always always have some cash in reserve.
