You're having a bout of wanderlust like me. I love to see amazing natural spectacles, archeological sites, or visit different cultures when I have the chance. Not to say that I enjoy nice hotels in various cities....but my favorite trips are to somewhere really different.

Is always good to get a real overview on all that is going on. You can pick them up at any news stand when you're there. Get a mini London A-Z map if you're going to be doing a lot of walking around and sightseeing.

Humor is always my fall back coping mechanism, my friend. Even when I was run over by a car, I was cracking jokes in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

sex is shameful. war is glorious.

another american politician bites the dust for having sex. apparently in this country that the only thing that will get a person impeached, or force them to resign. first Clinton, then NJ governor McGreevey, now NY governor Spitzer.

it was amazing how forceful, quick and overwhelming the call for Spitzer's resignation came. as soon as the news broke that...

Spitzer was taken out by big business anyway. He'd made so many powerful enemies on Wall St that it was just a matter of time before they made him pay. The wire tap would have never happened otherwise because it was obvious from the beginning that his bank realized that he wasn't involved in any bribery scheme.

"To make it a federal case, the government had to invoke a discredited 1910 statute known as the Mann (or White Slave) Act banning the interstate transport of females for "immoral purposes." It then deployed resources generally reserved for a major terror investigation."

Why go to such lengths for a year to wire tap the Governor?

It was a political hit.

I just beat Chelsea's ass yesterday in an online game 3-1. I'm digging the improvements and the fact Benzema is now an 85. biggrin
