i am ok. i think i am just really worried about my dad. he is in kuwait with the 3rd infantry division, the division that will travel into bagdad when we invade. i woke up at 5am confused, and found a bunch of people online saying horrible things about rachel corrie, a peace activist who was murdered on the gaza strip. i'm thinking, holy shit,...

That's good about the letter. The boys on the front are going to need the support. I've heard we've already dropped munitions on enemy military installments. The war begins soon. frown

Chopping wood, chopping wood, it is cold so chop some wood! If anything existed that could make me feel better it would be that. (Of course I'm hopeless.)

Imagine the kick it would be to set up a chopping block and stack a cord up on the rooftop! Comment chic!

You could wear the latest ScoPac duds and feel the power of a man-size chainsaw ripping through some thick madrone logs. Then feel the tensions melt away as you pound the living h-e-double-hockeysticks out of the blocks with your trusty log-splitter. All the while your neighbors are like, "Who's that burly lumberjack girl? Damn, I gots to get me some a dat!"
frigga:
but i sent you an e-mail!
is everything ok?
i feel pretty rotten today too.
i mean, i feel rotten a LOT of the time but today there is no reason for it.
like...dirty...grimy...like you do when you're sick and you finally go outside and the light makes you kind of nausiated.
maybe i need to listen to some music and clean my apartment or draw or sew or something.
bleck.

i'm totally depressed.

I think a lot of people feel the same way right now.

Again, I say: spooky. I woke up at 5am feeling almost exactly the same way, and knowing that a lot of other people were too.

worked for a while on sg stuff. went to a houseparty. came home and there were sagelike longhaired tanned spiritual types in my house. one who just got back from thailand, one who used to be a breathatarian. he survived on air. they're both all about doing long sweaty astanga primary series in the sun. honestly tonight i don't care about them. the house party...

i dreamt the store i work at sold My Little Pony toys instead of soap. in the dream we had a new batch of ponies in, and we were all really excited because the ponies had tiny glitter filled strap on dildos.

i have two cats. elvis and avi.

avi is a bitch. elvis is the coolest cat on the planet...

he likes to lay on the couch with me whilst avi freaks out and runs around the house.

I have a puppy that's the same way. She's named "Kitty", so it's almost the same thing =)

my whole life i have come up against judgement from people who can't handle my sleep patterns. i tend to sleep very unpredictably, go through phases of insomnia and sleep deprivation, and phases of heavy heavy sleeping.

i love sleeping and i love bed. i have realized in the past few days that my relationship to sleep is very spiritual. i love to dream, i...

I love me some sleep, but a certain small and determined mitigating factor prevents me from getting enough most of the time.

i love it.
and i think it's super cool that your lifestyle allows you the freedom to sleep when you're sleepy.
it's just how eating when you're hungry is an important thing, or else risk farting up your metabolism...

sleep is rest for body. and healing time, for sure.

it'd be nice if we could have nap time like in kindergarten...

it's not wrong to drink coffee at midnight, is it?
VIEW 12 of 12 COMMENTS
alexkarina:
Good coffee is always great, but I don't recommend drinking it at midnight. It's better when you wake up. Beverage rotation is very important. Coffee all morning (maybe one orange juice--lots of pulp); sparking water, soft drinks, iced tea in the afternoon (herbal tea if you need something hot); beer, whiskey, cocktails start in the early evening and continue until 2am or later. Beverage rotation--very important...

I'm gonna try my best to get to the parkside...do you know what bus goes there? I have to leave early so I can be at my bf's/my belated bday party...
re. coffee at 12am...it's wrong for me when it's from Schilling and I can't get to sleep til 8am...
