Had a nice relaxing weekend in Asheville! Saw Interpol, ate too much good food, saw the movie, The Incredibles (very cute, yay Pixar!), and slept well. And then just when I was fully relaxed, we had to get in the car and drive home!

The Nields are a folkish rock band led by two sisters with fantastic voices! I started a webdesign business but it has become more doing ebay for people for a percentage which is actually pretty lucrative. I also work ina record store kinda like the one in high fidelity if you have seen that. Lubbock is a college town in the bible belt which makes for an odd mix. I don't dislike it but I don't love it either. It is a nice mid sized town but I enjoy the cultural offerings of a big city that we just can't support here

Ok so my plant propagation test on Monday went well. I got the Wednesday test moved to Monday... though now that I realize this weekend is halloween, I don't know when I'm going to study....

ahhhh .... cold wet mornings always make me feel that way.

and yes, the yougin roommate settled after meeting Noah, and of course realized how fucking cool he is (as did my family) but now i'm having to move out since her mother is moving to NY in a month or so and she and her boyfriend are moving to Savannah in January.

But it's better this way .... i won't have a roommate who expects me to be home all the time and hang out all the time and be around for just them.

lesson learned about the 17 year old roommates wink

Woo! Another week almost over! YAY, I'm glad to have survived! I'm beat!

Today I grafted a couple of Ginkgo biloba trees!! I'm soooo excited! I hope they take because they're my favorite tree!! love love love

West Virginia was wonderful!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by a lot of fall color, and more developed as we stayed. Warm, breezy days of sightseeing crazy gorges, high bridges, winding one lane roads...followed by crisp cold nights!
