and hurray for birthdays! (i haven't looked forward to my birthday the past few years simply because i knew i would be disappointed, but this year i am looking forward to it again [except for the fact that it is going to make the age difference between me and mine even more pronounced ])

bleh. i wish we didn't live so far away. it would be wonderful to celebrate such an awesome month with a good friend. that is the two edged sword to sites such as this. it brings people from everywhere and anywhere closer together but at the same time it makes the distance that much more pronounced. *sigh*

Are you trying to keep him away because you're afraid if you let him in he's only going to hurt you? Exactly the case. And Ive tried to tell him that and his response is always "you dont trust me. and if you dont trust me, this isnt going to work". I honestly do know deep down that he won't hurt me. But I have time to think about stuff and sometimes thinking too much can be bad, I mean it can drive you crazy, you know? I overanalyze and assume. So bad.

I actually write down what Im thinking and feeling more often now than just tell him (anyone). That way my thoughts come out correctly and I have way more time to think about what Im going to say.

I actually don't know the name of the club.

That is so great of you. I remember when we learned sign, it was mainly for a program at school (meaning, a show we put on) with all of us doing the Pledge, and then at Christmas doing Silent Night. But, the alphabet and a lot of basic words have stuck with me.
One of my best friends is losing his hearing and started taking signing classes and when he and I are together, he'll sign sometimes and still teaches me words.

my sister has a temp job that pays $12 an hour. but i can't have a temp job since i need insurance

yea it'd be way more than i can afford. right now my health insurance is free where i work. so i figure that even though i only get paid just under $9 an hour, i'm saving a lot with my health insurance. and from i've researched, a lot of plans don't cover the treatment i'm on. which is around $4,00o a month.
one cool thing i just found out: after you work at my store for 3 years, you can get the health insurance no matter how many hours you work (otherwise it's just for full-timers). iv'e been there 2 years, so in another year, i'm thinking of just going part-time there and getting another job.

of course, that all depends on if i even stay here long enough for that to happen!
