Bro, the important thing to remember is that you have a roof over your head, someone to wake up to, bills paid, and food in the fridge. Don't loose sight of that because that's a helluva lot more than a lot of people on this Earth. Hell, I don't even have as much as what you have (Haven't had my own roof since the summer & I sure as hell don't have someone to wake up to) but I endure and move forward.
Christmas isn't just about gift-giving/receiving. To me, it's simply a reason to spend time w/ those you love the most. That doesn't really require money (unless you're talking about food and stuff). but that's besides the point. You get what I mean, right?
Thanks love. The only problem being that I thought this guy was a nice one and I was taking the safe option. Which is kind of worse in a way. At least if he was an upfront bastard I would have been more prepared to have my heart ripped out of my ribcage as opposed to not seeing it coming from anywhere.
Anyway! I'm going to do your little quizzlette now!
1. Best Concert?
I have seen zero concerts this year! I sung in a band at a few gigs though and it was good for me!
2. Best song?
Mmmm, Dolphins by Tim Buckley has been a good one for me this year.
3. Best new Album?
I don't buy new albums *hangs head*
4. Did you meet anyone famous?
Richard Herring, but we kind of already know each other anyway so I'm not sure that counts.
5. Did you sing in your car?
I own no car.
6. The shower?
Of course.
7. Favorite new band or artist?
I don't really pay attention to 'new' artists. My head is stuck in the 70s with all the dad rock. It's a good place to be.
8. Would you rather date an ugly musician or a gorgeous McDonalds employee?
Neither, that's what Robocock is for.
9. Do you have any comments?
2007 can fuck itself.
Randoms...
1. Did you make any new friends?
Yes.
2. Favorite summer get together?
I guess with Jamie and the Hobbits on the isle of wight.
3. Biggest accomplishment?
Getting onstage and singing again. And being fucking awesome at it.
4. Best movie of the year award goes to...
Oh fuck knows. I liked Little Miss Sunshine but that may have been a 2006 one.
5. Any goals for 2008?
Just keep on keeping on. Allow myself a bit of happiness.
6. Thing you will miss most about the year 2007?
Nada.
7. Thing you won't miss about 2007?
Scott, his wife, Pam, the Isle of Wight.
No worries. I called in sick this weekend at work. Im tiered and burnt out. I need to feel better because I have a buisness meeting in Utah on Monday anyways.
Well hang out soon anyways.
Trainee Christian missionaries this time... at least that is original, I think we're all getting bored with the campus shootings. Mall was certainly kind of new. Almost a week ago now... it''s so pass already.
What's wrong with you people? Are your lives so fucking pathetic that you so desperately want to be famous even though the next dickhead... Read More
well it doesnt help that my wife is now wearing some of your wifes old clothes funny how you and my wife are the same astrological sign, while your wife and i do too... spooooky! so are you planning on having any sort of birthday bash this year?
did you know that our government is seriously going to decide in a few months whether guns will be banned in Washington D.C. or not??? holy fuck that scares me!!! That's completely destroying the second ammendment this countries' forefathers installed to help protect the people from the government (and probably for other reasons too). if it passes, i expect nothing but other states and/or cities to follow suit one by one... they do it all the time. its how they suppress our freedom without most people noticing. remember San Francisco was the first city to ban smoking? well, now look at the dominoes falling in line... ive always expected this country to fall into a military state eventually, i was just hoping it really wouldnt happen... call me paranoid, but ive always wondered if most of these shooting sprees are somehow designed to help give "evidence" that the government needs to protect us for our best interest by removing our right to bear arms...
Another year slowly coming to an end... Generally speaking, I'd feel kind of blue about this but this year has been very different. The sooner it ends, the better.
Thing is, when you're on a roll, having a few good years in a row, you start to feel some sort of self-inflicted comfort (isn't that a lovely image?) and... Read More
well i have insurance on the camera, but i dont think it covers theft. i mean i could smack it against teh sidewalk on purpse and still get it completely replace at no cost, but if i dont have something to show, i dont think ill get the $400 camera replaced ill either wait until spring to get a new one, or give in and apply for a best buy credit card so i can get a replacement asap...
