i hate when all the filipina's get together at parties/gatherings, because you know damn well that when you walk by they are gonna say something about you (in tagalog/other dialect). especially me, with my piercings/tattoos/stretced ears, and being half always springs up some good conversation between them.

I mean, I wouldn't say that ALL the opinions are good, but even some I can accept someone having an opinion opposited to mine, if they have strong reasons. As much as I don't agree with capital punishment, but if my child (in the future) would get raped, I'd maybe wish the death of the person who did it.
It often depends on the context too.
