Unfortunately some people have a hard time moving past their past... maybe it's becuase they are too afraid to focus on their present / future that the keep themselves stuck in bad past memories.... It's a shame that your bro holds onto bitter feelings with your family... especially your dad! Well at least you have enough commen sense to be able to look past the negative things that may have happened and you are able to enjoy "today".
