My advice is don't count pounds. Sure, work out and get in better shape. But numbers don't mean anything alone... Now keeping track of your progress by shopping, now that's fun!!

Stay off the scale for 4-6 weeks. If you're really out of shape and starting to exercise again, your weight will not drop much as you lose fat but gain more dense muscle tissue. If you can't keep off it, buy one that does the % body fat and concentrate on getting that number to decrease.

I'm sure his first thought were to get something along the lines of a latex catsuit, a slip & slide, and a 5 gallon container of baby oil, but "No!", he said, "I'm going to listening to khoos' needs and get her what she really wants."

Just take the lid off and place the blender over his package. Tell him the love the gift, but one more appliance for a present and the blender is going to be the last thing that ever goes down on him! Of course then at that point you're obligated to go down to avoid any lingering bad vibes.
