As I just commented to MDF, the bacon story made me miss Annette even more than usual. I miss those silly exchanges more than I can describe. You guys are the best.

Yes, I miss her terribly. On the other hand, maybe she's still with me. How else can I explain how i'm still surviving after everything that's happened the last 8 or 9 months.
I've been more able to reflect on the good times with the passage of time. I made lots of progress in that area with my reminiscences on my blogs for Mother's Day and her birthday. Now comes the real test. The 4th anniversary of her passing is coming up in September. That's going to be the really rough one to deal with.
