They're new. The bulb is called "white light" as apposed to having a yellow hew in them. They are indeed quite bright! @imporeo

@otsego55 they sure are Stargate dvd's! I'm missing a few seasons but that's only because I refuse to buy slimline packs and they don't make them in the large boxes anymore haha I have to slowly hunt them down :P Video games are still awesome at letting you escape into an alternate reality or even to just zone out after a crazy day! I have to say though that my gaming collection consists of only Lego PS3 games :P
