Those are some long weeks you have... I once dated a truck driver. He drove all over Europe. I can see both benefits and the opposite in the job, but it definitely would never be a job for me! I would be dead scared driving one of those monsters!
I definitely understand why you wouldn't take a 6-days a week job in Ireland. It's too much work.
I'm enjoying my job right now. I get paid quite alright for a trainee and we get off early most days, plus we get a lot of days where we can leave early to work at home. (e-learning). I like that. Freedom of own responsibility.

Charity runs are a cool way to show that bikers aren't as bad as our reputation.... We aren't very popular in Denmark, people think our bikes make too much noise. In fact, most public buses make more noise... They've been talking about increasing the amount you have to pay in fine if you're bike doesn't meet the noise restrictions/requirements, it's an insanely high amount. Everybody knows a bike has to make som noise!

Our old monster 600 sounded absolutely awesome! There was this car where we live that had a rather sensitive alarm, and I used to love blasting past it so the alarm went off.
Damn, sometimes I miss that bike.... -Even more than the s2r.

Weren't you going there for your friend's wedding? Yeah, sometimes work's gotta come first. That really sucks. Spending more time working than on hobbies and one's significant other. No wonder people get together with colleagues.....
Just curious, how long is a typical work week in the States? In Denmark it's 37 hours a week. I guess we're pretty lucky compared to for instance UK where it's 48 hours. Man, they don't have time for anything but work! It so sad.

I think it's really great that you go on that toy run. It's an awesome idea!
