as far as the nipples go - i did both of mine about 10 years ago - it's really not that painful to get done. for me, definitely increased sensitivity and if you have a partner that likes to play they are fun. i did retire mine but more because i was bored with them...

As for falling for someone, I say let it happen. If you get hurt or if you hurt him, that will happen. You cannot truely love someone unless you risk getting hurt.
