So after spraining my ankle last Saturday I spent three days on crutches, three days with a cane and now I just walk funny. 
Lesson learned? Yes, never walk backwards in anger. heh.
I am proud to announce that John and I have bought a house!!! It is near the Van Nuys golf course in Lake Balboa. I'm nervous, excited, scared shitless, everything I expected to be when this finally happened.
We get the keys November 30th and plan to take all of December fixing up the place getting it ready to move in.
Tonight we go to a cast party for the spooky house crew, tuesday we have our house inspection and saturday.....well I am kinda hoping for Disneyland! We shall see!

I know you have been offered help by many.. what do you still need. A friend of mine was going to give he extra bedlinen to goodwill but said if I knew someone who needed them she would rather to give them to some one in need and a friend of a friend.. also I know losing knitting stuff is not as big as your home, but would you think getting some yarn and knitting needles would be good for your Mom? I know sometimes little things mean alot.. give her my love and keep your chin up, people do care in this world.
