thanks for the info. i was actually thinking of going to the police station and just making sure they had my cell number hooked up to the correct address since i don't have a hard line. but it seems that's not necessary.
so, if i called 911 from my house would they know i was here and alternately if i called 911 from some parking lot somewhere would they be able to trace me to that parking lot?
