I had a really great pork dish at the Cheesecake factory in Pasendena. It had some kind of sticky sweet carmelized sauce. My girlfriend said the salad she had was one of the best she's ever had.

Yeah. When I was in college there was a club called the "Asian Cultural Society". It sounds all lofty and important, but all they did was show Hong Kong action movies. I got to see many of the movies that Tarantino "borrows" before he so graciously relesed them under his label.
That and the Brattle theater's (Cambridge, MA) weekly Hong Kong double features back in the day gave me enough background to be able to call a rip off when I see one.
