Occasionally I come up with some zingers. I call it Jayspeak. Just came up with this one:

"It's not about how it is. It's about how you make it out to be."

Enjoy.

And yeah, we're cut from quite the same rare cloth. I reckon someday we'll be in the same 5 ft. radius to compare fabrics

once again, you've outdone yourself, o metaphor master! hee hee I like this one!

ps: God used pinking shears to cut my cloth biggrin
fatality:
I'm still taking that one in.

Haha, zingers.

Internet. All night. Again.

Well, that and some PS2. But in the end, boobies will always win out over the boob tube. So here I am.

I think one of the reasons this site is constantly getting my attention, besides the hot chicks, is that I'm introduced to the most interesting people. Man, this sounds like some crapass infomercial for SG, but seriously, one of...

I can't help but wonder if you got any of those bathtub vibrators. The fact that they offer electrical toys for the bathtub just screams of asking for trouble there. Danger, Willa Robinson, danger!!
HAHAHA! Yes, I was a little wary myself when the presenter brought them out. She kept stressing, "These are waterproof ONLY IF YOU TURN THEM ON BEFORE SUBMERGING!" as if there were a string of electrocuted customers in her wake. I'm still a safety girl, though, and opted out of the water sport territory! biggrin

Being with someone and yet still feeling like you're alone. It's like being alone AND trapped. Yeppers. Been there, done that. The wedding dress will be on e-bay as soon as I can dig it out of the storage closet. Which is why I appreciate my independence so much now I think. I never did until I got married then divorced.

I bet the complication of relationships, be they romantic, friendship, etc., is part of the reason why online communities like this, and internete friends like us, have developed. For that control of reaching out on your own terms. Absolutely agree. Although, I am just as obnoxious and unapologetically randy in person. tongue And you being the eccentric one of your real world group, you know where I'm coming from. We had to join SG to know that we are not alone! I bet it would be something to know you in person.

BTW I totally rocked out a kick ass metaphor today off the cuff. So beware of your crown! LOL biggrin

I will grant you that there are many more pleasurable things, but when it comes to the little things in life, there is nothing more rewarding than going through the trash and finding that thing you so desperately feared was gone forever. Phew on that one. . . .

At any rate, it's Monday, and while that would normally instill a feeling of agony over...

Oh, and ps: don't even get me STARTED on War of the Worlds. I avoided it like the plague, but that DAW (desperate attention seeking whore) Tom Cruise seemed to permeate every damn magazine I read anyway!

I wish you had caught Jay Leno last night. I don't usually watch him, but Wanda Sykes was on, and she delivered the most hilarious routine on how black people have gotten the shaft from Bush in the Katrina situation. I was laughing so hard I was crying.

I dont know man..I thought Kool Moe Dee's self titled album was pretty wild. If I had to replace one album on that list, with one of Kool Moe Dee's, it would be "When Disaster Strikes" simply because I dont consider it old school. It only came out 8 years ago.

Patience is a sonofabitch.

I'm sitting here trying to come up with something insightful and inspiring to babble about, but all I've got is this blank canvas. I could talk about the personal projects I'm trying to get off the ground, but there's nothing really solid to report. I could talk about the questionable status of my relationship, but in the end, the answer to...

winning 9-2? i think that's where they were. i'm not sure. remind me if i am incorrect?
wendy:
you posted that on saturday, when the red sox won the game, 9-2. so if you ask me where they were on saturday, depending on what time of day the yankees may have been winning, but the red sox won the game.

and you guys really aren't in any position to be throwing insults, at least not now. (it's second place you're in, right?)

It's been an incredibly whirlwind week, with more ups and downs than doing 69 on an elevator (which, I know, doesn't sound like a half-bad idea).

Chicago was a blast -- my new favorite city. Some of the best ribs and pizza I've had in years, and a respectable-sized Chinatown, to boot (very important criteria, in my book). Had a crazy adventure right after Chicago...

May I suggest adding "assclown" to the juniors' vocab list? And you can make a field trip out of it, to whichever classroom that assclown teaches in.

Dude, they are already THERE! hahahaha

I spent last night devising a trap that will harness the creepy visitor but not harm it so I might set it free. Now to make one for the Cricket. HAHAHAHAHA

Today, we're feeling good about the future. . . I had a good interview today for a job I didn't want going in, but did want (and felt good about getting) walking out. I found out that I might have hooked up a writer friend with a manager and an aspiring actor with a few gigs. I saw my other aspiring actor friend in her...

Like many others these days, I have nothing newsworthy or immediate to report. It's been what I would qualify as a generally unproductive week. I've been busy and gotten stuff done, but I wouldn't particularly call it productive. I think this is the blah's of August.

However, I'm in Vegas next weekend for the UFC fight (bet Couture and Trigg) and Chicago the following weekend....

How were the fights? Bloody? Catch any flying teeth? Any recommendations on hotels there?

Initially, I planned to journal less frequently, but my new friends been so damn friendly and responsive that this site has quickly turned into the daily obsession that I hoped it wouldn't. Well shit, there's worse additions than cool people and naked boobies.

I was gonna talk here about my rather humbling experience catching a shark this evening (no, thats not slang, I actually caught...

Million Dollar Baby was alright. I have an unhealthy obsession with Clint Eastwood so I might be a bit swayed there. The Machinist and Sin City (on DVD August 16!) were some of the better films I saw this year. Oh, and Ray wasn't bad either; a good film to watch if you ever consider becoming a smack-puppy. Ray = drugs + doing them --> bad detox experience = frown That's pretty much the equation.
