That fine feller MayorRock is hard at work on my new website after he did such a fine job on Patrick's. We'll let you know when it's launched, but it will be: www.jamietrecker.com. Duh.

Feeling better this week, finally. Would you believe that a) I had an enlarged heart due to b) a buildup of fluid and c) that now that that is all settling...

London, Belgium (Brussels and Bruges) and German-based folks:

The Jamie Trecker World Tour kicks off in two weeks, and the first leg comes through your cities. If you're at all interesting in hanging out, drop me a line.

The next part of the World Tour will go through France and Holland before settling in Germany. Other stops include Spain, Brazil and (for a vacation!) my...

It is lovely here. Window is open and I can hear the waves lapping the shore. And my sinuses are cleared! Suck it, old man winter!

I miss you alot alot, husband! And stuff.

PS: Some of Panda's things need to be put out of their misery! But not the Mu! Just smooches and pats on the head for the Mu! miao!!
mratomic:
hello Jamie, yes you say you corresponded with Manko"before she got all famous and stuff", you don't know the half of it man.
She's at it about 3 hours a day just keeping up with her myspace stuff. Poor gal is starting to need assistants.

I'll keep an eye out for you round the comic shops (Maga-City & Gosh are my regulars), have a good trip.

Sorry I'm such shit at updating my journal. Truth is, we're all just swamped at Trecker HQ. Li is working 12-hour days at her new gig, the Panda is the same ole shuffely Panda, and Hoz and I are working on finishing up a project which needs to be completed by early March. The book is moving along slowly as well; Hoz and I will...

This month has gone by WAY too fast! I'm starting to freak out a little over deadlines and such. Hope your writing is going well.

I find Easyjet are okay, I haven't flown Ryanair but everyone tells me they are complete bastards and to be avoided if possible. They are cheap though. I like the German carriers like Germanwings and Hapag Lloyd Express - cheap and pretty reliable.

Oh, what am I doing this week? It seems I have so much to do and so little time in which to do it. Some days I wish I could just build a tent in my bed and read comic books with a flashlight...

the doc dying has nothing to do with the validity of atkins, he didn't invent it! just made lots of money out of refining a really old traditional diet. it has worked wonders for me, curing me of nauseous vomiting every night which gave me insomnia and exacerbated depression. amazing what dietary habits can do for you! i'm not being convinced otherwise.

I think San Francisco would be nice as well, my friend Crayne is over there now..

Oh, but you do want children?
And Li?
Do you have many nieces?

Thanks for the compliment on Jesper, he's the cutest... he and I have so much fun together..
peche_____:
Thank you for sharing, it must be difficult. I am sorry if I was being to forward or anything.
What difficult choices to make in life then.
I did not exactly chose to get pregnant and I barely survived my pregnancy, we were very lucky to make it. Jesper was born almost 8 weeks prematurely.
Anyways, we both made it in good health.
That's what's important.

It's great to have these wonderful people around for you guys, to be allowed to become so close to their children and share the love. I don't let just anyone be close to Jesper, I think it's really special to be part of someones "family" in that way.

No, I have not heard of that, I always use Bepanthen, that's for babies bottoms and for rashes. Works like a charm.

Latino members of this site should read my column this week (appearing Wednesdays) on Fox. And last week's.

aha yes indeed! i don't think of scotland as being a 'few' hours mind you as i have to travel by coach which means it takes half a day! long time to sit doing nothing, no tvs like on long-haul flights...bah!

but if you're gonna be in london let me know when and maybe there'll be a london SGUK meet you could come along to! that would be pretty cool, i really love the International Relations aspect of this site wink

i'll send you a PM with which issues when i've had a think about it. they'll probably mostly be shining knight as that's the only one i've had a lot of difficulty with AND obsessively love!
teela:
heh thanks for the positive feedback on the set! i was happy but it but alas! i hsve seen several rejecetd sets that are REMARKABLY similar in setting, clothing and style so i guess i can dig it. mass consciousness move or something...

anyway onto important things! you have OLD shining knight?? i have only ever seen t he small fragments i can glean from googling! also he is teeny tiny on the top of an alex ross poster i have of crisis on infinite earths. but that's it! i'd love to see some original bits even if you scan them - if you find yourself at a loose end havin a search through your old comics would be a great thing to do! can't BELIEVE you have that many books, that's insane! i am bitterly envious of course but at least i have seven soldiers and seaguy to see me through!

I've always wondered this: Since guys only make tapes (tapes - ha! How old I am) for girls when they want to get in their pants, if I make discs for my friend Eric, does that mean I want to sleep with him?
