Why do I struggle so much managing my social media?

Does anyone have this problem? It feels overwhelming trying to keep up with everything!

On balance I haven't found any social media platform to be really worthwhile, so I'm not on any but SG - which is only kinda sorta social media - a small walled garden at the very least.  How many of the hours I used to spend on FB were actually more valuable to me than reading or crafting something - maybe about 5%.  I recognized immediately that Twitter was designed to become a garbage file: by all means, let's have no accountability or standards and explicitly limit the depth or complexity of thought that can be expressed!  IG is nice to browse pics, but the lack of context leaves it very presentational.  Great for promotion, poor at actual connection.

long time no see, I'm sorry for the hiatus!!

been having an existential crisis but I feel better now, I've been getting those like every 6 months for the past decade an a half ... or maybe a little more I'm not quite sure :/ hard to escape them lol.

anyways... what's been going on with everyone?? im excited to read about your lives!!

But my GF and I are in the process of buying a tiny piece of mountaintop where there's always a breeze and it's always 10 degrees cooler than where I live!
