Day 2 of 3 off. Spent the better part of today looking on the internet for an Easter Island Statue, cleaning the bathroom/laundry and sweeping. YAY FUN. Think I'll sit for a while, read the paper...

Hurrah. It's Saturday. No work, all play. i guess no-one wants to join me for 3 days off. Boo.

It's bloody rainy/cool in the "Great White North", just like every Victoria weekend. Oh well...

Sure there are lots of holidays. But we don't actually get time off of work for them. Banks and government workers tend to get more days off tongue My workplace only recognizes ten holidays...taken up by New Years, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving (2 days), Christmas...and maybe MLK Jr Day and Washington's birthday. Not sure on those last two, though.

It's Friday, work week is almost done. Apartment is clean, Cat is fed/content (he always gets fed, he's 17 lbs., he could lose a pound) and getting mind-set for 3 GLORIOUS days off (long w/end).

Wow, it's Thursday... One more day until the long weekend (Victoria Day in Canada). Hope it's eventful, nothing like a non-eventful long weekend to make you say "Shit, I didn't do anything except stay in my housecoat for 3 days". Ah well, wait and see...

Ok, here we are... I'm trying to sort some stuff out, legally, and I keep coming up against roadblocks. Unseen or untold things that "have" to be done. When will it end? Frustrating, but I'm trying to keep my smile-on, and think/be positive. At least this site helps me keep my mind off of it, and it throughly brightens my day.

Happy Mondays, everyone. So, the deck stairs are being replaced as I type this. My Landlady is cool about the whole situation, which I was VERY worried about. Just moved in April 1st, and one month later (because of the BBQ fire), they have to replace them there stairs. NOT a good way to start off that type of relationship. Ewwwww, up WAY too early. Damn cat was begging for food from 7:00 A.M., just annoying the hell out of me. Guess I'll get lots done today cause of it. Or not. "We shall see, Rabbit, we shall see."

OK, Wednesday, better than the day I had yesterday. Still kinda worried about what the cost is going to be to replace the deck stairs, but, nothing I can do about that right now. Just have to wait for the $ assessment. Oh well, at least I have this site to cheer me up.
