Home sick today and we're supposed to leave for LA tomorrow. I really hope I'm not still sick. I'm supposed to go to Medieval TImes on Saturday with the SGLA group and I will really hate life if I have to miss it.

I was a Firefly fan also, I am so disapointed it got cancelled. I have all the episodes on cd.

My name hmm well the NLC were my mother's initials and way back when i used to watch the movie Hackers over and over again and like the character Lord Nikon, and when i first created my very first screen name back then i made it Nykon and i have just kept using it.

yeah I work to much as well - my company is going through some financing troubles - we are suppose to get paid on the 18th (with direct deposit happening on the 17th), but my paycheck hasn't show'n up in my bank account yet - I am thinking about not going in to work until my deposit shows up!

Eeep. I know how horrible that is. My work is with parts for Formula One cars, the lead up to the first race had me doing overtime for nearly a month trying to keep up with team deadlines. Stressful and tiring. My boss harrasses me too, I take revenge in petty and childish ways. I listen to the spitefull 14 year old in me smile The general boot in the knackers approach, as suggested by most peps here, sounds a good idea.

I'm never able to get up on time in the mornings. I recently brought a novelty alarm clock. Its in the traditional style with bells on top and is nearly a foot across. Its so loud that I now jump out of bed in shock as soon the thing goes off. Not a pleasant way to wake, but at least I get to work on time.

Cartoons! Transformers was my favourite. Still got the videos and the toys. Thundercats was good and me other favourite was Battle of the Planets (G-Force I think it may have been called in the US) Cartoons are about the only programmes I watch on tv. I could watch Cartoon Network all day long smile

i gave up on Blockbuster a while a go. I'm not sure if it was the non-stop running of Entertainment Tonight (tailored of course to the Blockbuster customer) or the foreign ownership.

I went to the videostore again today to rent another bunch of Six Feet Under, and I had a free 7-day rental. So I picked up Rushmore, which I haven't seen yet. She just looks at me and says, "I'm sorry."
I'm thinking, "What, are you allowed to criticize my selections like that?" But no, someone had pinched the DVD, and the case was empty. She says, "Do you want to get something else?" Competly dejected, "Naw, I gotta go."

I haven't seen The Professional either, just trying to maintain my loser standing. Maybe I'll go back and redeem the 7-day freebee with that one.

I liked that film too, the squeaks and swearing of the spiders was funny. There's hardly any films like that nowdays. One of the first films I saw was Them! Giant ants, great film. Although the special effects are crap compared to 8 Legged Freaks. A giant ant attack remake should be done.
I'm skint too, hence I stayed in this weekend. A tax rebate is too much to hope for. I'll make up for it next week.
I use :tongue: for both purposes. which is confusing sometimes.

As cool as a First-Lilah would be, I think it was probably just Wesley and his demons. I didn't really realize how much I liked her until she was dead. Too bad, too. Vampire Lilah would've ruled.
