I've been traveling like crazy - living in between 3 places - Oak Park, Chicago-proper & Detroit. I'm in the midst of the BIG PURGE and am doing quite well on ebay - thank you xmas impulse shoppers.
I have plans for a several week sabbatical downstate in mid-January to work on my book. I like your travel plans much better... much warmer.

Enough moopy bastard updates. Life is good and the weekend was great. I went to Wisconsin and got to drive Indy cars around a race track at 200+ miles per hour. It was awesome.

Ah, I am completely infatuated with the South American authors such as Garcia Lorca, Garcia Marquez, Allende, Borges ... such evocative, romantic, nostalgic beauty emanates from their every word, even when translated. (My Spanish isn't that great anymore)
and yeah, that was probably the funniest joke i came up with about samuel l jackson doing the bible thing. my other fav would probably be:
