I have now realized that I will never be able to leave Philly because this trial will never end. I will simply move into the Marriott and live on soft pretzles. At least PA voted for Kerry...

Still in Philadelphia on the trial that will not end. I get paroled after thursday, but have to come back on tuesday for a week or two.

I voted absentee in Illinois last week, and really thought Kerry had a chance. Good thing I got my hopes up!

I believe a bottle of wine and the Replacments are needed.

So I think I've recovered from the no sleep on Saturday night/fly to Philly & work all day Sunday debacle. My reward: a hotel room in Philly and the fun of crossing a pathologist on the stand Tuesday afternoon.

Took a cab to the airport and caught a 6:00 am flight to Philly so I could attend a 10:00 am video evidence deposition of a radiologist with 2 PhDs. Halloween: The plan includes no costumes and copious drinking at Fado ON Saturday. Dean turns 35 and I'm celebrting with him because he's older than I am. Show up and I'll buy you some drinks, too.

Sitting in a hotel in Philadelphia for a complete waste of time that will take about 10 minutes Thursday. World Series television and room service, ever so glamorous.

Addicted to the I-Pod, to an extent that is becomong disturbing.

Very odd day. My parents emailed that they put their house on the market today. It's the only house they've had since 1970 and had all the cliche "home" attributes in my mind. I haven't lived there since 1993, but it's still pretty odd. Am I to old for this kind of shoe gazeing or is this a legitimate thing to consider?

I've sprent far too much of 2003 listening to the New Order box set, Retro. I'm far too old to be obsessed with this, especially since I already have all the songs on other albums! Oh well.
