on the subject of remakes of scary japanese movies, everyone in his and her right minds should rent or borrow a copy of kiyoshi kurosawa's "pulse"/"kairo" before wes craven remakes it as lamely as "the ring" was remade, "love letter" wasn't remade, etc etc. hollywood remakes are rock bottom. i think i remember hearing someone say the rights to battle royale had been bought also, but that seems slightly offtopic since BR was a comedy.

on the subject of monarch scooters, those are some jacked prices, even for a shop. 55 for a 2002? besides, LA driving is so inconducive to those things. we can't all be italians.

I did that to my old Compac laptop. I swung it by it's monitor and smashed it in the driveway. It felt great! It was totally broken anyhow.
