Weeeelll... That Burlesque show... Good Lord.... What a great evening. Had an incredible time. What a show. An 11 in every concievable sense.... Both Erin and I had a great time. We've been jabbering on about it to pretty much everyone we have came in contact with over the course of the day.

I have to give a massive thanks to BobbySleep.... You sir are...

Just make sure there is a next big adventure!
I had an excellent time with everyone too, thanks to you two for being so nice.

True, very true, it was a great show. 5 minutes after you departed who should walk by but Quinne and I thought ....fuck this ....so i asked her for a photo and she obliged and made my day. I had a good chat to her as well.

One more day to SGB... Right on. Work as per usual today.... Nothing too exciting. Just glad to be home and having a cold Molson Ex. It makes for a long day.

As of right now, I kinda look like a woodsman in the making, as the desire to shave my face just has not hit. That's ok though.

Wow.. I am dreadfully sorry about...

You have no idea how redundant my journal entries can be and have been for the past little while. All I keep harping on is my upcoming vacation. Pretty boring stuff.
When my back got really screwed up three years ago, lying down was the only thing I could do that didn't hurt, so shaving was out of fhe question (although, fortunately for those around me, bathing was not out of the question). I pretty well grew a "mountain man" type of beard, which has survived in some form up to this day. A woodsman type beard is not such a bad thing.
You are right about one thing...the Burlesque show will, if nothing else, provide some fairly interesting stories. I am just about quivering with anticpation. Hopefully I'll get to see you there. I plan on showing up just after the doors open so I can secure a good viewing position...so just look for the really short guy up front. smile

I hope you have a good time at the burlesque show tonight biggrin

Well.... Today was pretty good... I slept in for a change. I felt lazy, but that's o.k. every once and a while. Erin and I both have Monday's off, so we had some time to relax together... We work together yes, but work is different. We live together too, but usually, after work, we are so beat from the day, that she usually goes to...

Hey...how did you ever guess my real name? I know...but I wasn't feeling particularly creative when I signed up and picked a pseudonym.
It's nice that you and Erin had some time to relax together. Like you said before, tuning out is the best remedy for long weeks and such.
My dad has a bike too - he has a Yamaha V Star. I guess it would be a little like a Harley (providing it is a touring or cruising type of motorcycle). My mom was spooked the first few times she went on it, but now she really likes it. I, on the other hand, have no intention of getting on the damn thing. That styrofoam Harley logo must look pretty awesome, though.
As for your question, I have a budgie. He is about two months old, and we got him from a neighbour who breeds birds. His name is Eddie (being a Leafs fan, there wasn't really any other choice). Very playful, noisy little thing, but he's alright.
Based on everything I've heard, Burlesque is going to be freaking awesome, and I can't wait to go. I have work the next day as well, but I was fortunate enough to get a later shift, so I can sleep in a little bit.
Hey, maybe we can meet a little before the show and talk. It would be great to meet a fellow member.

Cheers! smile

Holy catsfish..... What a week... I am glad it has come to a close. Very busy.... Frustrating too. Need to take some time over the next couple of days to relax... I'm getting much too frustrated, much too fast with things. Work is beyond busy.... I had an MRI the other day, which made me uneasy. Since my shoulder injury at the end of february,...

Hey there. Just noticed your comment on the Erin and Regan set...yeah, if the Leafs won the cup it would just as awesome as those pictures were.
I've had a busy week too, so I can sympathize a little with your situation. Time away from everything is the best remedy there is, for sure.
I've had an MRI as well, on my back. I went in head first and was enclosed in a fairly tight spot for about thirty minutes - and that was not pleasant. It turned out that the MRI revealed a herniated disc, which is what was suspected all along.
I will be at the Burlesque show on the 24th as well, and it should be awesome. Maybe I'll spot you in the crowd or something.
Seeing as you've only been here for a month or so, I would like to welcome you here. Enjoy!

Well.... I just got home. I'm tired. Long day. Going to be a log one tomorrow too. I have an MRI for my shoulder at 5:45 in the pm.... Physiotheraphy for the shoulder at 8:00 am, and work in between... Oh well... And Bobby, nope, not Redpath... I work at a ckake specialty shop for now. I bake, prep, clean, and things like that.... If...

Well... Pretty tame day today... Had another day of. Just relaxed.... Just watched Ghost World with Erin. She had never seen it before oddly enough. I had not seen it in a while, so it was cool to revisit. I love Thora in that film.
I have to work tomorrow... I'll come home smelling of sugar. Oh well... It pays the bills on most occasions....

Mmm...sugar.
Where do you work Petor? Redpath?
I remember the days of buying Fine / Smoking / Peter Jacksons...I've upgraded to du Maurier now, though; thanks to my recent pay increase. Your White Stripes collection puts my Beck collection to shame. I'd like to think I was diligent in keeping up with most of his releases, but not nearly as much as you. I'll have some pictures on the weekend.

Ok... A day or two overdue, but here's the next one just the same. I guess I was kind of hoping for some groundbraking events to occur over the weekend, but alas, none did. Some fun stuff happened today though....
Went into Toronto with Erin (Fiance) today... Just to chill out. We both had today off, so we thought we'd kill some time in the...

See you at the show Petor...
What does it for me is the red hair, green eyes and milky complexion. If they happen to be over 5'10", they'd probably end up with a stalker.

Your dad sounds very resourceful when it comes to late-night-kitchen-escapades. My dad is a *fire at will* kind of man.

Also, if you need a ride home...I'm not drinking (maybe a beer or two throughout the night) and I'd be more than happy to provide you with a ride back to the Shwa.

I'm tired this evening..... I smell of sugar and old cigarettes. Worked a long day. Too bad about Ray Charles Passing away....

Before I retire for the night, I must spend some quality time with my eMac....Oh... I will have some news to share on the weekend.....
bobbysleep:
Well...where's the exciting weekend news?
I see you too also have a penchant for redheads...More apparent than mine, though.
