I can now understand why young professionals pay other people to do their laundry or household chores. Not only does it prevent you from having to wait to use the machines in your apartment building, but you get 2-3 hours of your life back.

I,m I don't think you need to have the capitalist male attitude to be feminist. Like you said, it's wanting to be treated as equals to men. If I end up willing to have a big career and my man would like to stay home and take care of the kids, I'd say, why not? Both parents are really important. If Iit's my decision to stay home, I wouldn't see why it would be against feminism. If it's my way to be accomplish and express my equality: by the power of making a decision.

Glad to find out the Printer's Row Book Fair wasn't last weekend, so I didn't miss it!

Stupid SG site....

So today our computer/IT area had a FIRE....so our server AND our phones (which are tied into our computers) were down. My co-workers would've called me, but I forgot they don't have my cell #.

So I wasted six hours at work for NADA.

Hopefully they'll call me tomorrow if anything else goes haywire.

60% humidity.....argh.

I don't mind the heat. But when I take a shower and five minutes after feel as if I've been rolled in piles of garbage and crisco oil....not good.

I haven't felt like doing ANYTHING this weekend, and I at least need to get a haircut and go exercise for an hour.

I may have to do the unthinkable (for me, anyway) and cut beef and fried foods out of my diet.

hahahaha! i think i don't have much confusion with human beings, but a language barrier can really be a problem to me. and yeah, learning english really isn't that hard but until you speak it fluently, it's kinda embarassing. blush

and i speak very little too, but it's for save saliva, not because i'm an introvert. (as if were true...hahaha)

i spent last week in montana, and it's the first time in a long time i wasn't congested every morning. something about the mountains? meh.

i didn't end up going to karaoke. i was looking forward to it forever, and then when the day came up i started feeling guilty for not working on these papers i'm presenting next month, so i spent the night reading in bed. i'm so hardcore.

it sounds like everybody had a good time tho. i'll definitely make it out for beach day in july, especially 'cause i can bring my pup. and it's after the paper presentations, so i'll be free again. will i see you there maybe?
