I've been accused of "shutting out" my co-workers.

I really hate people who make comments like that. I'm insecure as it is.
ferretbite:
Discard it as an opinion/rumor, and don't think about it anymore.
notoriousdug:
WTF does that even mean?

What are you supposed to do, invite them over for tea or something?

Is it a good or bad thing when you spend your weekend doing laundry?

A question which may never be answered.....

So I start Spanish classes on Tuesday. I'm both excited and worried, because I haven't taken anything resembling a class in almost 10 years. I'm starting to worry about diminished brain capacity and my ability to learn and retain languages. I know, be positive.

It's only 45 minutes a week, so my lunchbreak on Tuesdays is changed. Which is probably ok. I just can't miss...

Fetishes are always a good thing! Enjoy it as much as you can!
I just found that movie to resemble a period of my life that I can remember as a fun time.

Leave it to me to figure out that I'm into something (when I denied I was for well over a decade), when it's either too late to do anything about it, or when things are so insular and/or weird that I almost don't want to.

Is that cryptic enough?

Only I would be reticent to post about a personal kink on a website featuring beautiful...

We all have the power inside of us, it is just a matter of letting it out...

You cab do it!
winter_davis:
I'm trying to think of anything one could be into that it would be "too late" to do anything about... *tilts head with curiosity*

Sublimated urges and anger.

So, since I'm on this losing weight kick now, beer and drinking are pretty much right out.

I didn't mean to not show up last night though. I fell asleep after the Bears' game. How lame is THAT?

I suck.

I must confess, I do think my kids are awesome. The next Wednesday night outing shall be posted tomorrow, but plan on it--I hate that I missed the last one!

Life is designed to confuse us, sir. It's in the DNA of time.

When did I become so indecisive????

I don't know.

Or do I?

I'm (far as I know) the only person in my current group of friends who likes The Donnas, and since their girly brand of rock/pop doesn't appeal to anyone in my age group, I tend to go to their concerts by myself.

That, and I was once basically considered family by the lead...

Imogen Heap seems to chase the blues away.

So I took photos for the department directory. The young lady who took them, besides being genial and easy on the eyes, is a professional with accolades out the wazoo. And she manages to work for my company as well.

Got me to thinking that this writing/drawing thing could be put to use for a nonprofit organization...

So Madeleine L'Engle passed away this week. In 5th grade, I had a teacher who recognized my college-level reading skills and handed me a copy of A WRINKLE IN TIME. I was hooked. She then gave me A WIND IN THE DOOR, the sequel....after that, I pretty much tried to read any science fiction or fantasy I could get my hands on. Up to that...

I've been hearing a lot about this lady but i know not who she was. I suppose that's just me being ignorant again.

I too have had the "she wants a bad boy" problem. The thing is, best version of yourself you can offer someone is the real one, otherwise eventually, the glamour fades and the mask will fall.

And YES!!! I was on the verge of extinction there but I signed up for another year. Bwahaha.

Not a day passes when I don't want to ask her "just how many of those freckles do you have?"

But I don't. Because it'd be inappropriate, even outside of work.

But I can always wonder.

Though it's a good question, you're unfortunately right. Damn rules of etiquette...
I hope your trip home was better than ours!
