we had planned to go north to the mountains to hunt morels, but toms moms cancer is back after six years and she wont be seeking treatment. (she is 91)

i havent known her long, but i will miss her when she goes. she is a damn cool old lady. when she was growing up, tom told me a story of her bootlegging as a kid. people would come to her doorstep and yeah.
