so this past weekend my Master and i went to Soulfire, which is a regional burning man event.
IT WAS SO MUCH FUN
like... holy fuck
im going to love burning man so much. i mean, blinky shit everywhere, i get to dress up however i like, or not at all...EEEEEEEE!!!!
so it was held at lupin lodge there was bunches of people and the jelly fish from burning man 2011 were there, and quite mesmerizing.

they were more floaty and surreal this weekend
there was a more cowbell saloon camp, and i did a shotski with a few strangers. 4 shot glasses glued to a ski, we all have to drink at the same time.
it was fun
Tom tied some glowy rope on me, people loved it
i met a ton of cool people
i spent my 24th birthday there
i made a frankenanimal... i do have photos of that, and Toms, his is fucking hilarious
mines kinda dumb
this is Toms. I laugh every time i look at the front, with the frog legs hanging out the mouth.. xD
im sorry i dont have a ton to report, the weekend was filled with drinking and fun, i remember it all, but cant put it all into words.

in other news, if you didnt see my blog from earlier, it looks like i have a job lining up. if i get it, which i think i will, i will be working between two restaurants as an assistant pastry chef. =]
i went to a little career fair at my school a couple weeks ago and spoke to the exec chef of Straits. the president of the school saw me talking to him and after i was done went and spoke to him as well. i tried to tune out what he was saying, but what i did hear was good things.
yesterday i went to another fair, and he was all, didnt straits get back to you? i said "yeah, they said they didnt have a space for me at this time" so he right then and there, called the owner of the restaurant.
before i got home yesterday i had emails from the exec chef as well as the COO.
i will have an interview sometime early next week =]
fucking awesome!
and its only a 5 mile bike ride from here =]
but yeah...
oh, i am also kind of teaching myself poi
i have been going for one day and can do the two beat weave, but cannot get the three beat weave. haha
