I set my alarm clock to let me sleep in a half hour later than i usually get up.. and guess what woke me up at the normal time.

i really insane thunder and lightning storm..
i didnt fully realize it at first, cause i was still 75% asleep listening to thunder.. and then my whole room lit up and hardly 2 seconds later my windows were rattling and my dog was clawing at my door to get in.. he's such a chicken when it comes to thunder poor bugger..

I left my house earlier than usual too, in case there were some trees down or something.. thankfully there weren't and I got to see pretty purple and pink lightning all the way to the college. It was very pretty. just starting to get light, so it was indigo outside, misty, and every 10-15 seconds or so the sky lights up a really dreamy purple color.

There was one lightning bolt, that I actually saw.. It hit the ground somewhere.. lol

and another one, it must have spanned from roseburg to oakland.. so about 20 miles no joke. when i saw it i was like holy crap. lol

for those of you that don't already know, or haven't sussed it out from this blog. I love thunderstorms..

especially the kind that are so loud my windows rattle.

so apart from being tired.. it was a nice morning.

going to be picking my mum up from the airport later today, im sure she will be happy to be home again. she's been gone for about a month visiting my sister in virginia.
