Like I said, it's strange how a house can become so meaningful. Today a new family will own it, and they'll move in, and they'll create their own memories there. Maybe one day I'll be the old codger standing out by the mailbox reminiscing.

This is weirder for my mom, I think. She actually grew up in that house. I don't know how old it actually is, but it's been part of the family for about 50 years.
