Well here's another way to look at it. You'll always be able to see them some other time since bands are always touring. But you won't always get to see your niece in a pageant

I think it makes more sense to have rejected sets along side the active ones. Like most said, it gives them more attention for members to see them & even give them more of a second chance to be recognized.
