As far as the picture size, it's like a standart set, 1000px for the longer side and the pictures weight are btw 110>160 Ko usually

The second one is better. When you crop it down so your face fills the entire frame it gives the impression that your face is kind of wide. I also like giving the actual portrait a little room to breathe, as it were.
