That's not the kind of thing I walk around telling people, even if I believed it to be true. I did go to art school and do list myself as an illustrator/animator/artist (sort of) in a few places. Truth be told, I don't really do it for a job, so I sometimes forget about it.
There's a whole website out there, too, which hasn't been updated in forever, but I do still list in a few places.
-So maybe you just weren't looking hard enough, eh? Or maybe I impressed you with my awesomeness without even needing to have my profile quickly scanned. That makes me sound cooler, I like that one.

Workshops. I don't miss those. Or any of the other trappings of being permanately employed by others. A steady paycheck was nice though.

Hope the workshop is going well.

I think that King of the Hill is hilarious...but sometimes, due to living in TN, surrounded by rednecks...it hits VERY close to home!
My step-dad's side of the family is VERY redneck, so some of the things that happen on that show I could see happening with them. smile
His sister once asked my mom when I was going to get married and start having kids...I'm 22, mind you. Her son's wife is 17, and they have 2 kids already. My mom said, "Oh, well, she wants to graduate college before she gets married, and then she and JP want to have married time before they have kids...she'll have them before she's 30, probably." My aunt responded, "Oh lordy, isn't that a little OLD? I mean, she's already almost an old maid right now!"

Rednecks.
dollbabyamy:
hahaha, that's what I'm saying...I'm thinking, "If I have a kid before I'm 30, that's fine...if not, that's ok, too." One of JP's sister's is due to have her first baby in August...she's 38.

This same 17 year old with the 2 kids...at her baby shower, we gave her huggies brand diapers...she said, "Oh my god! Thank you so much! Huggies are like, so expensive!"...my mom and I were a little confused at her excitement, until we saw the REST of the baby shower gifts...ALL were from the Dollar General store.

Yea, and they wonder why they won't be getting wedding shower OR baby shower invitations when they occur. smile

I used to commute on a bike on those hills. 12 minutes in, 45 minutes home. Nice work on the run.

Batman - he is conflicted; sometimes not rational; sometimes not entirely virtuous; he wears alot of black; and he gets way more ass than Superman ever would or could. I actually suspect Superman of being an asexual eunuch - that and he's a total goody-two-shoes.
smuffy:
you have beautiful teeth.

hello. I've stalked subrosa long enough to finally become his friend.

and welcome to the site. biggrin
