Bad News -

I didn't get hired at the Apple Store, so I'm still stuck at crappy old Borders until I can find something else. Time to really start putting my production resume together and applying for jobs I think I'm way under qualified for.

Good News -

This is possibly one of the best pieces of good news I've had in ages. (And you...

All the people at the Apple store here on Maui are tools. Here's to you finding something better. smile

That topiary garden is amazing, and those arches are the least of it! It's in Zarcero, Costa Rica. Worth the visit.

So, some seemed to be interested in the details of what happened when I got mugged on Sunday. Here it goes, the best I can remember it.

I got to the Colesium BART station and just got in my car and fastened my seat belt and just started up the car when someone tapped on my window. I looked out the window and say a...

Wow, what a day.

I went into San Francisco today to go to WonderCon. I almost didn't since I didn't feel like going by myself, but since I hadn't been since 2003, I thought I should go.

I stopped by the SG booth and met the wonderful and lovely Annika, Dominoe, Serial, Suri and Taye. I also met Cedar at Justine...

Well, I got my 'Thanks, but no thanks.' letter from Pixar in my email yesterday about the documentary team intern position I applied for. Considering that the position was supposed to be filled at the end of January, I guess it was a good thing it took this long for them to send me the letter.

Anyhow, it was my first time trying to get...

Woo-hoo! I'm 40 today!

Anyhow, I decided to start working on putting together some poster ideas for my documentary. I don't have a large variety of images to pull from yet, but here is what I have put together.

Suggestions? Comments? General observations?

Oh, I'm so excited to see my artified muppet fur jacket! OK, i'll talk to her. Should I call the # I have for you? About the cincher - which I absolutely adore - if she could just take the plaquette out herself (I don't want to take scissors to it) that would already help. Maybe she could make it into a coinpurse as she suggested? put a little drawstring in it? CUTE!
Is that Ishie in your profile pic?
Happy belated bday!!
And again so sorry to hear your eldest passed away. miao!!

LA Trip: Day 7, 8, 9 & 10

It's been a few days since I got back from LA, so I hope I remember some of the stuff I did.

Day 7:
Again, I didn't do much today, got up a little late and felt it was too late to venture out to LA and do touristy things, so I decided to take a few...

LA Trip: Day One

Technically it's day two, but since day one was just the drive down, there really isn't much to write about except for the random Roma tomato carnage I saw on the highway. Seems some ambitious Roma tomatoes tried to escape from the trucks carrying them whenever the situation seemed appropriate (bumps on the road), but wound up getting flattened by the...
