Damn you microbial invaders!

Woke up a few times last night with phlegm blocking my airway. Kinda scary.
I hate being sick. I only get sick once or twice a year, so when I do, I am a big baby about it due to not being used to it.
I should be fine in 2-3 days, but it still sucks.

I can't wait for Saturday.
I've had my Ruger 10/22 for two weeks now and have yet to shoot it. It's driving me insane.
So my buddy Erin, 25centgiraffes, and myself are going shooting.
We're actually going to shoot for skill this time, not just destructive bullet throwing. Haha.
I'm picking up a decent scope for it Friday morning.
Should be fun.

It's amazing how many people will give you dirty looks for killing an organically raised, humanely treated rabbit and making a delicious stew, but have no issues eating factory farmed beef and chicken.

if i havent killed, gutted and skinned it myself, i have zero right to eat it. this is the way i see my vegetarian lifestyle, but i also acknowledge that if im trapped on the deserted island, and its my starvation or the pig, that pig is going down.
due to the lack of need to kill things for sustanence, with the global trade what it is today i can sate my nutritional values on a vegetarian diet.

The stew seems to have turned out ok.

It has red wine, water, potatoes, celery, carrots, rabbit, bay leaf, pepper and should have had onions but I forgot (oops).

Not bad though. Needs salt.

Ok, so the noise complaint from my cousin/landlord wasn't for Chris coming over to watch a movie, it was from the 5 hour Monopoly game last weekend that went until 5:30am and ended with my flipping the board like a boss.
That game was loud, so...guilty as charged.

6 rabbits slaughtered and butchered. Luckily my buddy stopped by and butchered 3 for me so I didn't have to do them all. It's easy, but tedious when trying to keep the skins.
He took 2 for his troubles.

Turns out my boss didn't really care about the mistake...she was just wondering what happened.
It also turned out that the reservation was made the day I was on WAY past my shift and was exhausted.

We talked a bit this morning and she is looking to replace 3 of the 5 desk people...aka the idiots.
