9 hours at a deer check station...and we checked in NINE deer...and I took 2 tonsil samples....
comparison...my boss filled a case of tonsil sample cups. (24)...and you can't take samples from EVERY deer.

So yeah...it was a slow day.

Tomorrow starts 4 long days of 8am-5pm collecting tonsils at a check station, and working in my regular deer head pick ups.
Gotta love rifle/shot gun season.

My back still hurts. I hope it heals up and is stronger for next time I split wood.

4 hours of cutting, hauling, splitting and stacking wood ALONE, then another hour where Christine helped stack (she was at work).
My back is reminding me it's there alright...and that hot shower has never felt as good.

Still have half of the 80-90 foot tree to split. That will be Sunday...if my back allows it.

My cousin and her husband finally get off their asses to help my grandparents....by cleaning up fallen tree limbs...and instead of leaving it for my grandparent's wood stove...they asked if they could give it to our neighbor.
