hey there hi there ho there...

nah, t'ain't really all that bad. It has been just one of those things where when I'm stressed, the weak links in my life become irritatingly clear ...that being my CDP (complicated domestic partnership). Man, that story is much better suited to talk over a pint or rapping between pulls of da ganj. Bottom line, after looking at all the effort I've put into making this work, I wonder what woulda happened with those ol' girlfriends I was really truly in love with but just wasn't quite ready to do the work with ...if I had done the work with one of them, would I be in that LTR or, dare I say, marital bliss? I miss being in love ...it's been a long, long time. Well, there's my ramble. My soundscape is chilling out, as is my psyche. As always, I'm just riding it out.

Your friends list is lookin' a bit questionably itself...
But, in a good way...

i'm collecting too many ghosts in my 'friends' box.

i won't erase them though- i'd hate it if someone did that to me.

i snapped at the guy in the health food store yesterday.

that stinks- i hate it when i give in to temper- that's weak.

don't get me wrong- i'm in a good mood (if somewhat strange...).

here are today's lyrics- it's one...

Sniff, I miss the 80's. Back when I was young and idealistic...
vastad:
AH yes, Tears for Fears. This song is particularly catchy for the way Roland Orzabal opens the first verse, going all over place in pitch and tone. He's definitely one of THE voices of 80's music out of the UK. Him along with Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys and Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet....of course there's more

RE: Nachos. I suspect them for giving me gas.

One of my favorite songs and one that actually applied to me: 'Smalltown Boy' by Bronski Beat.

What I Got/Sublime

Early in the mornin', risin' to the street,
Light me up that cigarette and I strap shoes on my feet.
Got to find a reason, reason things went wrong.
Got to find the reason why my money's all gone.
I got a dalmation and I can still get high. I can play the guitar like a mother fucking riot.

Life is (too...

okay, here goes nothin'--
i'm gonna agree with tommy up there on a couple of things.
given what i know about you, i'll guess that you have dark eyes, dark hair--maybe curly when it's longer, but maybe you keep it really short. being a drummer, you've got to be thin, maybe lanky. tons of energy too. probably not taller than about 5'10". maybe a baby face. and olive skin-tone.

*runs and hides, cuz she knows better than to guess on this kind of stuff*
wink

Somebody sent me the quote...unattributed...so I don't remember! *Hangs head in shame*

I certainly take your comment as a compliment, that was exactly the effect I was going for. Wheeeeeeeee for being able to convey things.
invisigirl:
so, do you wear a cape to work? does your watch do anything cool, like take photos, or shoot icky things at people's faces?

pretty much invisible is all i do. i'm a one-trick pony.
unless you consider the ability to clear a room by playing a peppy rendition of "Oh, Susannah" on the harmonica a super-power...
maybe you can use my special skill in your band? hahahaha

i'm trying to find work as a graphic designer, but it's not easy. i applied at barnes & noble yesterday out of desperation. i don't even think they're hiring. and i hate retail. that's how desperate i've become. something's gotta give soon, dammit.

are you a cancer or a leo? stupid question, i know.
what did you have for lunch?

i've gotta run now, but i'll reply to your other stuff later tonight.

...yeah, ain't he though?

I'm back ...a little tanner, a little wiser and a little older.

whassup with the new look?
tommysativa:
yeah it seems like the story is dissolving with the exodus of all the original castmembers ...gotta admit I'm thinking about following suit. There are only a handful of people here I mesh with and could just as easily keep in touch by e-mail.

Country Fair is more of a nouveau ren fair...
http://www.oregoncountryfair.org/

it's pretty wacky ...lots of music, food, theatre, artisan crafts, sustainibility resources, humor... With friends hopefully dropping in to camp and hang out, THIS will be my REAL vacation. I love my old family, but my new family and my friends are where it's at for me.

two years and no escape? yikes. Save yer nickels and get the fuck outta Dodge, pardner.

What's this I hear about a demo CD???

Are you a music man G?
arcadia_rose:
I have only read a couple of Clive Barker books in my time, the best being Thief of Always, which also had some awesome artwork in it. But i havent read any of his new stuff, but i will give that one a look. And yes, Good Omens is indeed a wonderful book.
I DO consider Duran Duran new wave on the pure premise that their underground work is much less pop. But then genres are blurred anyways. I just love them no matter what they are! and of course The Neverending Story was the best one hit wonder ever!

I have been betrayed by my commanders- Sent on a suicide mission without my knowledge. I was to act as a weapon- a mean of enticing an unwanted war by the brutal murder of innocent beings.
