Just got back from guitar wolf at the larimer lounge........
rock and roll is love and soul...

sort of in a post doc mood this evening........

the girls here have thunder in their soul.....that slap bang dynamic that brews quietly in this goddamn world and shines only here.......

A hoist of mirror pond to you, and a fat bowl, laughter, life, and as the stones...

The folks on my friends list are those to which I speak on a pretty regular basis - either that or we hang out. So let's get our chat on and take it from there, kay?

I was doing some spring cleaning, getting some audio stuff to take to good will and in a box of cd's a friend gave me before I left Seattle lo and behold I found the gift him and his girlfriend gave me before I left and thought I had lost.......10 pills of the mescalito, and a small piece of perforated paper with a purple jesus...

Today was "Pay Up Sucker " day. You would think that professional musicians would just pay their bills......jeesh. I had to go to court this morning to get something for my work, so I ended up with a 62 marshall plexi head and cabinet. I looked odd wheeling it out of the courtroom but I would rather have the cash. I dont know whether I...

Man what a week from hell went by. I got news thursday that an old friend decided to join the choir invisible on his 40th birthday. So it was an emergency trip to portland. I had 2 sessions I had to postpone. So what is left of this week is taken up by some long ass days.

After the funeral on Saturday, a bunch of...

so sorry about your friend. i had a cousin shoot himself in the head with a rifle when he was 13. seemed like he'd barely lived long enough to meet the demons. i can only narrow it down to the fact that his mother and father are some the biggest fuckheads i know. seems a coincidence that his sister who is barely living has decided heroine and homelessness is preferable to living with them.

didn't mean to turn it into my own personal rambling...

again, i'm sorry

An angry wind is blowing outside tonight. SOunds like I am inside of a churning dishwasher. I was playing "Mr Tambourine Man" on an old banjo and I saw something about the doc on 9 news. Which I never watch and I saw dates. Which sent a bolt into my cough medicine induced haze.

Good night Hunter, sorry to see you go so soon. I...

He inspired me the way punk rock did.........

"Every now and then you run up on one of those days when everything's in vain...a stone bummer from start to finish; and if you know what's good for you, you hunker down in a safe corner and watch. Maybe think a bit. Lay back on a cheap wooden chair, screened off from the traffic, and shrewdly rip the poptops out of five or eight Budweisers...smoke off a pack of King Marlboros, eat a peanut-butter sandwich, and finally toward evening gobble up a wad of good mescaline...then drive out, later on, to the beach. Get out in the surf, in the fog, and slosh along on numb-frozen feet about ten yards from the tideline...stomping through tribes of wild sandpeckers...riderunners, whorehoppers, stupid little birds and crabs and saltsuckers, with here and there a big pervert or woolly reject gimping off in the distance, wandering alone by themselves behind the dunes and driftwood................."

Man I saw that cbgb's may close..........NOOOOOOOO. If I had the cash I would keep it open. That place is an icon. Albeit a stinky dirty one. They should turn it into a museum. I remember doing sound there for so many upstate bands years ago. WIth the crappy console with the mic jammed in it for talkback. And the bathrooms........whew!

I was wondering how...

Tape Machine Porn- a Studer with its insides showing. Taking pictures of the connections and mailing it to the service rep at Sonic Circus. I thought that to myself and laughed.

Going to get a new business license today. I decided that alot of travel unlike when I was younger takes its toll. If anyone on the site needs any mastering done let me know...

Last night was one to make my liver quiver. We hit the town with bells on, the summit county folks were loaded to the gills with all sorts of neat things.

We hit the skylark and then up to the larimer then to falling rock then to streets of london, then over to the fillmore for a few social d songs, I know the bands...
