So, yes, KCRW. There is not a better station on the planet. I lived in So Cal for a few years and became addicted. Moved to Chi-Town12 years ago and went for 11 without KCRW. Last year I discovered I could listen on-line and I am so fucking happy about that! Metropolis, Chocolate City, The Drop to name a few shows...Love it!
Congrats to you and your man for his new job. I always feel that if you stay optimistic even when it's hard to eventually things will fall in place. I think attitude has a lot to do with it. You ever notice some people just always seem to be in fucked up situations and they don't know why it's always them. But you can see how negative they always are. Then there are people that realize shit can suck sometimes but they don't get down and believe it will all work out. And guess what - it does. I'm happy for you.
