recently some one suggested i might be obsessive-compulsive because i never go anywhere without a camera and if i do it realy bugs me hmmmm...?

I don't think that's obseeive compulsive at all .. many photographers I know always have at least one camera with them. you don't find good pictures sitting at your desk, and it only takes a couple missed shots before you start to keep your index finger on the shutter at all times.
however .. if you feel the need to take exactly three pictures of everything and then have an over whelming urge to go wash your hands once you're done clicking .. well then you may need some medication or something.
